Kakelo Unity Community Based Organization is a locally registered CBO committed to building healthier, stronger communities. We work through community health promotion, WASH and nutrition awareness, youth empowerment, education support, entrepreneurship, and community outreach in Rachuonyo East, Homabay County.

Founded in 2020 by community leaders in Homabay County, we believe lasting change comes from within. Our approach is simple: equip people with skills, resources, and health knowledge, then let them lead.

Kakelo Unity CBO registered and began community consultations in Kakelo Location.

Health & Youth Programs Launch

Launched community health awareness campaigns and trained first cohort of 150 youth in leadership and life skills.

Expanded to 6 active programs covering health, education, youth empowerment, and economic empowerment.
